About

Where did Yogahippie come from?

Meet Justin

Your friendly, neighborhood Yogahippie

My name is Justin Bost. After struggling with heroin addiction for several years, homelessness, incarceration…I was left feeling seemingly hopeless and helpless. In 2018 I was once again incarcerated and it saved my life. I’ve been clean from heroin ever since. In 2020, I lost my little brother, Jordan Bost, to an accidental overdose. It rocked our family and is something that remains with us to this day. Sadly, this has become an all too common occurrence. We are losing our friends and loved ones at a frightening pace.

My grief over this loss led me down a path of deep introspection and spirituality. I found myself in a place where I could turn my grief into a tool and use those lessons for good. I came to a place of honesty and acceptance for myself,  exactly as I am: Someone who found their way through some of the darkest aspects of the human condition and came out on the other side. Not perfect, but full of love and light.  Feeling called to shine it on those who are walking in THEIR darkness. Only to say: “You’re not alone. You’re loved. You are worthy of joy. I can’t give it to you, but I’ll tell you what worked for me”

Unifying Communities by Empowering the Individual

With a message that speaks not only to those suffering from addiction; Yogahippie aims to offer a variety of techniques to encourage honest self- exploration and discovery of that which brings joy. I Believe that learning to love one's self is the best way to love and lift up those around us.
